The Branch Venturer Council is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Venturers to join the BVC Exec in 2026.
The BVC Exec is a small team of Venturers who lead the BVC to support and represent local Venturer Units. The BVC meets each month to bring together Unit Representatives from across the ACT to provide updates, share information, plan events, and gather the views of Venturers on the topics that impact them.
The BVC currently meets on Wednesdays, though the meeting dates for 2026 will be based on the best availability of the new Exec.
Being a BVC Exec is a great opportunity to develop your leadership skills, make new friends, and play an important role in improving Venturing locally.
There are four roles available: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. See below for a description of each role.
Prior experience on the BVC is not a requirement - what we are looking for are Venturers who are enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate.
Elections will take place at Coast Venture on 13 December 2025. Venturers who are interested and not attending Coast Venture should get in touch and we can make alternate arrangements.
If you’re looking for a new challenge in 2025, apply to join the BVC Exec. If you have any questions or would like to discuss any of the roles contact jay.reid@scoutsact.com.au.
